clay balls

Clay Balls 

A man was exploring caves by the seashore.  In one of the caves he found a canvas bag with a bunch of hardened clay balls.  It was like someone  had rolled clay balls and left them out in the sun to bake.

They didn’t look like much, but they intrigued the man, so he took the bag out of the cave with him.  As he strolled along the beach, he would throw the clay balls one at a time out i nto the ocean as far as he could.

He thought little about it, until he dropped one of the clay balls and it cracked open on a rock. Inside was a beautiful, precious stone!

Excited, the man started breaking open the remaining clay balls.  Each contained a similar treasure.  He found thousands of dollars worth of jewels in the 20 or so clay balls he had left.  Then it struck him.

He had been on the beach a long time. He had thrown maybe 50 or 60 of the clay balls with their hidden treasure into the ocean waves.&nb sp; Instead of thousands of dollars in treasure, he could have taken home tens of
thousands, but he had just thrown it away!

It’s like that with people.  We look at someone, maybe even ourselves, and we see the external clay vessel.  It doesn’t look like much from the outside.  It isn’t always beautiful or sparkling, so we discount it.

We see that person as less important than someone more beautiful or stylish or well known or wealthy But we have not taken the time to find the treasure hidden inside that person.


There is a treasure in each and every one of us.  If we take the time to get to know that person, and if we ask God to show us that person the way He sees them, then the clay begins to peel away and the brilliant gem begins to shine forth.

May we not come to the end of our lives and find out that we have thrown away a fortune in friendships because the gems were hidden in bits of clay.  May we see the people in our world as God sees them.

I am so blessed by the gems of friendship I have wit h each of you.  Thank you for looking beyond my clay vessel.

1.daei hendaklah dpt tunjukkan teladan-mpunyai sikap n syahsiah yg
menunjukkan keislamannya.
–mempunyai ilmu yang dilihat pada pengamalannya,sesuai dgn isi
dakwahnya. seseorang tidak mungkin memberikan sesuatu yang bernialai
kalau ia sendiri tidak memiliki apa2 utk di berikan.

2.keutamaan sasaran dakwah itu ialah kpd orang2 islam terlebih
dahulu,sbb klu orang2 islam sudah benar dan sudah dapat menerapkan
nilai2 n akhlak islam dalam kehidupan mereka sehari2,nescaya ummat
lain akan tertarik dengan sendirinya untuk menerapkan ajaran islam
dalam kehidupan mereka.

ini bertujuan agar ia terhindar dari
menggunakan perasaannya
sebagai panduan dalam kerja2 dakwah yang dilakukannya…

"sebab yang menyebabkan dakwah itu berkesan serta diterima oleh
orang yang mendengarnya bukan kerana keindahan n logiknya ucapan
daei,tetapi dakwah yang paling berkesan itu ialah apabila ia di
ucapkan oleh orang2 yang dekat kpd Allah,yang hatinya bersih dari
pengaruh hawa nafsu dan wajahnya menampakkan sinar kesaksiannya akan
Allah swt"

*In the last two weeks alone Israel has
killed an unprecedented number of Palestinian civilians including
pregnant women, children, and entire families.  Not once did the U.S. speak out against these crimes. In retaliation for these attacks Palestinian groups have kidnapped an Israeli soldier.  Israel is now promising collective punishment for all Palestinians and have entered Gaza under indiscriminate gunfire.

 

* Last week, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert stated that Israeli lives are more important than "lives in Gaza." Ask
your representatives if they believe that the lives of Palestinians who
are being relentlessly killed and maimed are also worth less than
Israeli lives.

 

*Tell your representatives that you
value Palestinian lives as much as you value Jewish lives and that you
are outraged to hear Israel has cut off electricity and stopped food
from entering into Gaza because of the kidnapping of an Israeli
soldier.
  Remind your representatives that
collective punishment is illegal and ask them how long this country
will continue to be complicit in Israeli crimes.

orang sanggup jalan berbatu-batu mencari penerima zakat tapi tatkala kini….orang sanggup lari berbatu-batu elak dari membayar zakat .

suatu ketika dulu….

orang berlumba-lumba pergi berperang untuk mati syahid tapi tatkala kini….ramai yang mati sia-sia kerana berlumba haram .

suatu ketika dulu….
ramai orang yang menolak dan menentang nabi tapi tatkala kini….ramai juga orang yang menentang malah menghina hadis dan sunnah nabi .

suatu ketika dulu….
makan pakai susah tapi senang beramal tapi tatkala kini….semakin senang semakin susah nak beramal .

suatu ketika dulu….
orang bersusah payah memusnahkan patung berhala tapi tatkala kini….orang cukup suka buat koleksi patung .

suatu ketika dulu….
orang sanggup mati untuk pergi berdakwah tapi tatkala kini….orang sanggup tutup pintu bila nampak orang datang berdakwah…

Tip 8 - Stay away from places where it’s found

Tip 9 - Surf or watch TV when others are around

Tip 10 - Remember your example

Tip 11 - For brothers, remember your mom and sister

Tip 12 - Have someone watch over you

Tip 13 - Fast

Tip 14 - Do Tawba and return to Allah

Tip 15 - Repent again and fine yourself

The message is that don’t give up on yourself. Keep trying. Struggle is life. Shaytan could be creative. And with the help of Allah, you will be the winner insha-Allah.

  It’s not easy to be a Muslim father. Here are some guidelines if you are a father:

1. The father must put Allah first above all else.
2. In all matters, ask yourself what Muhammad, peace be on him, would have done
2a. Live according to Islam. Pray,
fast, help those in need, be with the Muslim community and make sure
your children have Muslim friends.  ***
3. It’s your job to earn for your family, other than in situations beyond your control.
4. NEVER abuse your children or their mother, physically or psychologically.
5. Consult [do SHOORA] with your children and their mother in all matters concerning the family.
6. Give more care, honor and love to the DAUGHTERS over the sons.**
6a. In worldly matters  treat your children equally with justice*
7. Teach the children to Love, honor and respect their mother.
8. Do not make obedience a personal matter. Obedience is to Allah alone.
9. Tolerate and respect differences of opinion within the family but do not tolerate violations of Islamic Law.
10. If a child is in open rebellion
against Islam, he/she must be repudiated, but keep the door of
repentance and love open. The punishment must be more in sorrow than in
anger.
